Topping the list of free search engines - SearchIt!

I'm impressed.  I just tried Ken Evoy's SearchIt! tool.  SearchIt! is one of the best internet marketing search engines I've ever seen.  It is very useful - it now tops my list of free search engines.  It provides a pretty wide set of Internet marketing research tools in one handy search engine.

Search It! converts you into a business power-surfer.  Find new information and resources that you didn't even know existed, probe your competition, etc.  In short -- realize the full potential of the Web!  You can use it for:

• Keyword Brainstorming
• Keyword Research
• Analyzing Keyword Competition
• Finding Content for your Website
• Finding Affiliate Programs
• Etc.

Let's run through some examples so you can see what I mean.  If you have a popup blocker be sure to turn it off, as SearchIt! will need to open a popup window.

Open SearchIt!  Once SearchIt! opens, be sure to click on the Help link.  It will tell you a great deal about the tool.

On the SearchIt! tool itself, you will see there are 4 steps.  Let's try some examples....

Step 1:  Choose Brainstorming.
Step 2:  Choose Overture Keyword Selector Tool.
Step 3:  Type your keywords, such as "list of free search engines," or "list of best search engines," or "internet marketing search engines."
Step 4:  This step is not necessary for this example.

Click Search It!

Read the resulting page for any useful advice.  Then, near the bottom of the page, you'll see a link that says, "Please click here to see your search results."  Click it and it will open up the Overture Keyword Selector Tool and run it on the keywords you typed (such as "list of free search engines," or "list of best search engines," or "internet marketing search engines.").

It will tell you how many times the keywords and related keywords were searched for.

SearchIt! Internet Marketing Search Engine Example 2 - Local Competition

Maybe you want to see what local competition in your town is like:

Step 1:  Choose Local Business Competition
Step 2:  Choose Assess Local Businesses - Google
Step 3:  Enter keywords related to your business
Step 4:  Enter you location (for example, city and state)

Click Search It! and it will show you what Google local search finds.

This is just scratching the surface of this tool.  SearchIt! should be on any marketer's list of best Internet marketing search engines and useful Internet marketing tools. Keep it open in the upper corner of your monitor for 24 x 7 access and instant info-mining of the Web.
